A little paradise in Helsinki

The Summer season of Kivisaari ends on Sunday, 24th of August, after which the island will be closed. We warmly thank all our visitors for the past season!

Kivisaari invites you to stop for a moment and enjoy the proximity of the sea. Explore the iconic Merilinna designed by Eliel Saarinen, dine in the atmospheric restaurant or relax in the sauna. For adventurers, there are hiking trails and a great picnic spot, and for overnight guests, accommodation amidst the archipelago’s nature.

Kivisaari is located in the East Helsinki archipelago and is easily accessible by the Eastern Archipelago Waterway via Kalasatama, Herttoniemi, Laajasalo and Vuosaari.
